Cathy Earnshaw’s Bedroom at Thrushcross Grange
|
As excitement builds for Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights (released on 13 February and starring Academy Award and BAFTA nominee Margot Robbie as Cathy and BAFTA nominee Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff ) new Airbnb data reveals that Brontë Country in West Yorkshire is emerging as one of the UK’s hottest romantic travel destinations.
Guests will stay in a lavish recreation of Cathy Earnshaw’s bedroom, a deeply atmospheric space inspired by Fennell’s cinematic interpretation of the character. Designed as a feverish ode to Cathy by her husband Edgar Linton, the room becomes a character in its own right.
Skin-toned walls, layered textures and intimate details evoke Cathy’s emotional intensity - from strands of her hair woven into furniture to vein-like patterns pulsing through the cushions - creating an immersive and unforgettable romantic experience. ![]() The Thrushcross Grange dining room will also be brought to life, dressed in silver-toned finery and styled to reflect the opulent world seen on screen. Couples will enjoy a themed, candle-lit dinner featuring rich Yorkshire dishes, echoing the grandeur and romance of the film. During their stay, guests will experience a bespoke itinerary that blends cinematic romance, literature, and West Yorkshire heritage, including:
The experience is free, and three couples will be selected to attend across multiple days. The stay is designed for up to 2 guests across three nights and is completely free of charge, and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Travel to the stay is not included, and spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Bookings open at airbnb.com/WutheringHeightsMovie on 20th February, with the stays taking place between 27th February and 4th March. ![]() Sarah Bryans 10/02/2026
